Heavy metals naturally occur in colorants as well as many plant and mineral-derived ingredients and cannot be avoided completely. Since day one, Crunchi has invested in the highest purity grade colorants (iron oxides) and raw materials available for our color cosmetics and skincare formulations with the goal of achieving the lowest possible heavy metal levels for our products using tests with a sensitivity as low as .003 ppm for Lead, .003 ppm for Arsenic, .001 ppm for Mercury and .001 ppm for Cadmium. This is a priority to us and we are committed to investing in continued strategies to minimize heavy metals as well as ongoing third-party testing.
